​Irish born and raised, I lived and worked in other European countries before settling in England many years ago.  I have a love of language, travel and nature,  a curiosity for people and a delight in experiencing the richness of different cultures.

An accredited clinical psychotherapist (UKCP), my professional background was in the commerical sector before retraining in psychotherapy. Since then, I have accrued over 20 years’ experience in professional practice. My post-graduate training is wide ranging and details of my professional affiliations are below.

I have experience of public and private healthcare sectors and I have led specialist clinics, including both the addiction and eating disorder services of Priory Hospital Roehampton and I currently sit on the clinical board of a London based clinic. People tend to contact me because they are experiencing distress associated with eating disorders, addiction, compulsive behaviour and/or traumatic stress.

In my work, I am reminded daily that everyone’s experience of life and its challenges is intensely unique and personal. Therefore, my focus is always on what each person wishes to achieve from our work together. As an integrative contemporary psychotherapist I continually develop, and add to, my therapeutic skill set to ensure that I can avail of a broad range of evidenced approaches in my work. I provide individual therapy and group psychotherapy, as well as educational workshops.

I work from my practice in Eaton Gate, London SW1 and I work  remotely via Zoom. I also work as a Psychotherapy Consultant at The Soke in Chelsea, London.

As I work closely with consultant psychiatrists and private inpatient, secondary and outpatient services, I can support a prompt referral during our assessment or treatment process, if clinically indicated.

I hold professional indemnity insurance and enhanced DBS.
